This piece was inspired by some of the recent news about Blade Runner II. I wanted to do a key frame or concept still that could be used in the film. I kept it dark and added some Iconic Blade Runner elements like the lights in the background and the screen. Also tried to keep a bit of that rainy look on the walls and in the lighting. It was all painted in the Photoshop 6 beta, no 3D or photography used in the image. Also check out the making of! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1BH33YdG75k Thanks!
The planet is more than two and a half times the diameter of Earth's and weighs nearly seven times as much as our planet. It also orbits very close to a red-dwarf star. This is another space scene that I've done and I'm really enjoying them. It was all painted in Photoshop.

I really enjoyed them and decided to do my own. It's really nice and very tranquil to work on. The concept is a scene of a civilization more advanced than our own. they have colonized their planets as well as the surrounding moons. All painted in photoshop. thanks!

This is a concept of a future mobile device called the H.I.E.L.I.O.U.S. or holographic intelligently evolving life integrated universal system. This device goes far beyond a means for social communication or a way to access information. It is completely integrated into the life of every individual.

Above shows a young girl. She is accessing her after school studies which was uploaded by her teacher earlier in the day. This example can be applied to many scenarios in the day to day lives of our future.

This piece was all painted in Photoshop. I created the setting to feel old and rustic, somewhat vintage, so I placed her in a traditional French cafe. I wanted to create contrast of the older setting with a futuristic high-end device. Thanks guys!

Here is my submission to the Syd Mead challenge. This is what is known as a Rotavolo. In particular a TS.2850 model, The most powerful and advanced land racing vehicle ever built. Known throughout fans and racing syndicates as Hyper Dragons, they're a single wheel vehicle driven up front similar to motorcycles. At their prime, Hyper Dragon races were the most watched events in human history, a true united global event. But as death tolls rose, many national governments made the races illegal, deeming them far too dangerous. In time, the races were made illegal in almost all countries, causing a very swift and unforeseen global economic meltdown. With such instability, Many out of work drivers turned to a more lucrative career in crime and piracy, modifying their Hyper Dragons and forming clans. Able to reach speeds over 300mph and transporting them long distances very efficiently, these clans were very successful at creating an extremely fast and powerful force.
I was really inspired while researching Tibetan monks, so I decided to create a piece that reflects that but isn't just that alone. I wanted to give it similarities to but also additions that separate the feel from just one culture in particular. I also really wanted to focus on dynamic lighting. It's all painted in photoshop on 4 main layers. I really enjoyed this one. This and my other digital pieces are going to be featured in an art gallery in Fort Lauderdale in the beginning of January.

Hey Guys! This is my new piece "Sadhu 2063". The idea behind this was inspired by the Sadhu, the Holy men of India. The concept was to place him in the future, mainly the year 2063 (no real reason for that specific year, it just flows well). I didn't want to go too wild with the future side of it, just the setting and a few accents. I drew from various references and painted the whole thing in Photoshop.

I would really like to hear what everyone thinks!

I had a lot of fun doing this one. I was going towards the realism side instead of more of the fantasy type of illustrations that I normally do. I've included some breakdowns of the illustration along with the initial sketch. Hope you enjoy and would really appreciate your feedback!
